I started building sandbar anchors with the Shock Cords back in 2010 when I found the need to hold my Hot Rod Jet Boat in place while hanging out at the local sandbar in Northern Michigan.  Each year I would make small improvements to my anchor system and finally perfected the goof proof anchor system in 2014 which is used today.  I am a huge supporter of buying local and certainly buying products built in the USA and will say 90% of the products used to build my anchor system is made here in the United States.
